What do you enjoy about your job?
Supporting and guiding families in what can sometimes be a very challenging time for them. Helping them to create a service that is personalised to their loved ones. Engaging with community cultural groups. Working with a wonderful team of Professional women not only supporting families but supporting each other.
How long have you worked in the funeral industry?
My career in the funeral industry began in 1987. In 1990 I was appointed as Location Manager with White Lady Funerals, Bankstown where I stayed until 2007. In 2007 I moved across to White Lady Funerals Five Dock. Coming from an Italian background and speaking fluent Italian I have found my niche in the Five Dock Community.
How long have you been a Location Manager?
I have been location manager since 1990.
What do you love about the community your funeral home is in?
It is a very friendly, supportive community.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
Attending Ballet and Opera performances.
Are there any special community relationships, groups, associations or charities you work with or support?
Blood Cancer/Haematology/Palliative Care at Concord Hospital. Ferragosto annual Italian street festival. Community talks in Italian as well as English. International Women’s Day. Knit and Yarn (creating blankets for emergency relief).
