How long have you been a funeral arranger?
Since 2019, I started as an arranger and then transitioned to White Lady Bankstown where I became the location manager.
Before joining the industry I was a hairdresser, and then in sales, I have always loved having a chat with all different walks of life.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I have always worked in the customer service industry, and I love talking to people and listening to lifelong stories.
Changing my career was a clear choice for me, helping families arrange a farewell for their loved one, I enjoy spending time with them and guiding them through the process and supporting them through an important event at such a difficult time.
The Bankstown area is very culturally diverse, and as a result I have learnt a lot from being a funeral arranger and working with families from different cultural and religious backgrounds. You're always learning something new each day, it's great to have a job with experiences like that.
Lastly, I enjoy meeting some of the most interesting people I've ever met and making wondering friends along the way.
