Helping you pre-plan a funeral

Birthdays, weddings, baby showers – we spend so much time and care planning these celebrations. But when it comes to death, it’s something many of us actively avoid thinking about.

We understand

Planning your own funeral or helping a loved one plan theirs even before they’ve gone can feel daunting. But if you look at it through a different lens, it can be an opportunity to decide how you’re remembered. To make your funeral service a true reflection of who you are.

That’s where our Australia-wide funeral planning service Guardian Plan can help. Guardian Plan allows you to plan and pay for your funeral at today’s prices.

Why you should consider pre-paying your funeral

A little forward planning can make things much easier for your family and friends after you’re gone.

What’s involved in a pre-planned funeral?

Like any funeral, it all starts with a conversation. Our experienced Funeral Specialists will ensure you feel comfortable and empowered throughout the process. They’ll discuss your life, your legacy and how you’d like to be remembered.

You’ll share your preferences – whether you’d like to be buried or cremated, where you’d like your service held and where your final resting place will be. You might also choose a coffin or casket, an urn for your ashes or other inclusions such as flowers and condolence stationery.

After you decide on the details, you’ll either pay in full or set up an instalment plan to help you cover the cost over time. If you move, you can transfer your plan to another White Lady Funerals location around the country.

From there, take comfort knowing you’ve taken a significant financial and emotional burden off your family when the time comes to say goodbye.

Disclaimer: We recommend you obtain appropriate and independent professional advice before making any investment decision.

What payment options are available?

Pre-planning your funeral allows you to pay in advance, removing the financial burden that often comes when someone dies unexpectedly. With a prepaid Guardian Plan funeral, you can pay in full or in instalments over a period of up to three years.

Prepaid services through Guardian Plan are not subject to inflation, so your loved ones won’t have to pay any additional costs after you pass for the services you’ve chosen. They also cover the entire cost of the funeral you’ve planned, whereas some funeral insurances may not cover everything, leaving your family to foot the bill.
