What to do when a loved one has died.
Preparing for a loved one’s farewell.
Pre-planning your own funeral.
We’ll help you arrange a funeral for your loved one, providing as much guidance as you need throughout the process.
1. Meet with your Funeral Director
When you’re ready, you will meet with a Funeral Director at a time and place that’s right for you to start arranging the funeral service.
2. Planning a personalised funeral
Every person is unique, and every funeral should be, too. We’ll help you plan a personalised funeral service that reflects your loved one’s life, interests and religious or cultural traditions.
3. Running the service and reception
We will be there on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly. We can also plan and host receptions to gather with family and friends after the service.
4. Ongoing support
In the weeks and months after the funeral, we’re here to help with paperwork, setting up a video tribute, and connecting you to grief support services.
Choosing between burial and cremation is a personal decision, often shaped by your beliefs, culture, family traditions and preferences. If you’re considering the options for yourself or a loved one, here are some things that may help you decide.
Burial is generally more expensive than cremation, as there may be additional cemetery costs such as purchasing a gravesite, the right of interment, and opening and closing fees. These costs are set by the cemetery, and your Funeral Director can help you understand what’s involved.
Burial holds cultural or religious significance for many people and can be an important way to honour family traditions, rituals and beliefs. Cremation is also a common choice and may offer families more flexibility in how and where they remember their loved one.
For some people, having a physical place to visit can provide a sense of comfort and connection. A burial provides a dedicated place for reflection and remembrance. With cremation, ashes can be interred at a cemetery or memorial, scattered in a meaningful place, or kept close by at home.
We offer a range of funeral services to help you plan a farewell that feels right.
The cost of a funeral depends on the type of service and personalisation. Your Funeral Director will talk through your options, so you understand what’s included and what it will cost.
Always under our care
