How long have you been a funeral arranger?

I have worked in the funeral industry for the last 4 years. I was previously working in community nursing but have always been interested in the funeral industry.

What do you like about being a funeral arranger?

I have a passion for helping people and guiding them through times when they feel completely lost. There is no better feeling than when a family says thank you, you have made it so easy. The thought that I can provide dignity and respect to the deceased that can no longer provide it to themselves is the most rewarding thing in the world to me.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare times?

I love to bake sweet things at home with good music on in the background. The most important and special thing to me is hanging out with my friends and family and going on trips to places we have never been to before. I love volunteering in various areas and fields especially with animals and children.

I love anything water based and am looking at getting back into softball this season.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

If I could I would buy and farm and rescue as many animals as I possibly could. I have done a bit of travel but my all time favourite time was going out to the Great Barrier Reef, it was just spectacular.

I love to write and draw and have a go at anything creative.

If I had 1 superpower it would be able to communicate with everyone and everything to create more harmony in the world.

Do you speak any other languages?

I am currently learning Auslan sign language.

What do you like about your local area?

I love the community feel. everyone is friendly and helpful to each other. I love the restaurants, there is a great variety. I love that it’s just a short drive to not only feel you are in the country, but also some great swimming spots also.

What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?

I did a funeral for a lady who had been a dancer for 66 years and we had it at a massive auditorium with a stage and we had girls dancing in their dance costumes and singing live. At the end when the hearse left, we did an encore trip back past the crowd and they were surprised and loved it.

What charities does you brand support in your area?

We are very community minded and do a lot of collaboration with smaller organisations to build and grow in a community minded manner.

What makes your brand special?

The White Lady team is a very special team to be a part of, we are a large group, spread around Melbourne, but the way we work together and support each other is very special. I love how well we are recognised and respected in our local areas.

There is no greater pride than simply walking up the main street in your uniform and being so well known and respected by all.
