Thank you for providing a perfect setting for our funeral arrangements. It was very professional, courteous and with kind understanding during a very sad and emotional period for us. Could not have wished for a better ending.

Meet Julia Knock, White Lady Funerals Nambour Location Manager

What do you enjoy about your job?
The variety! It sounds like a cliché, but every family is different. I like to focus on making each funeral as unique and authentic to the person as possible. We take the time to listen to families and are eager to deliver on their needs. I also love the fact that I live and work in the same town. This is my community, and I am privileged to serve our local families. It is wonderful being able to check in with our beautiful client families when I bump into them at the local supermarket or while watching our kids in a dance performance.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?
Renovating my 60’s workers’ cottage in Petrie Creek.  It is SO typical of the homes in our town with it’s beautiful casement windows, timber floors and views.

  • Catching up with my teen and adult children for brunch or dinner and a game of cards.
  • Enjoying a glass of wine on the back deck while watching a storm roll in.
  • Reading – particularly Australian authors.
  • Travel – I’ve recently embraced solo travel and am LOVING it. Train journeys are my latest passion!

Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
Zonta Club of the Blackall Range, Nambour Community Centre, Legacy.  We have a strong focus on community and support and welcome communications from community groups that we can assist.
