Meet Anthea
How long have you been a funeral arranger?
I have been honoured to serve in the funeral industry for over three and a half years, walking beside families with care and empathy during some of life’s most difficult moments.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I find it incredibly meaningful to be a funeral director, it allows me to guide families through one of the most difficult times in their lives with empathy and care. It is an enormous privilege to provide comfort and support, helping honour their loved one in a way that brings peace and healing. Being there to listen, offer guidance, and create a service that reflects a life well-lived is truly fulfilling.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my spare time, I truly cherish spending time with my family—they mean everything to me. I also love relaxing, traveling, cooking, and exploring new places. Whether it’s discovering new destinations, trying out new recipes, or simply unwinding with loved ones, I always appreciate making meaningful memories.
Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
We support numerous community groups, clubs, and facilities, and getting out in the community is a big part of what we do at White Lady.

White Lady Funerals Wynnum came highly recommended, so we nervously made a time to see Anthea. The rest, as they say, is history. The entire process was laid out in the most personal and professional manner, all our questions were answered and Anthea made recommendations (based on years of experience). We left the meeting with Anthea bristling with confidence and a sense of relief that the "shopping list" had been reduced to a couple of things. The day of the service went perfectly amongst all the emotional turmoil. Everyone mentioned how professional and lovely the service was, and the ladies treated everyone with the upmost respect. Not wishing to sound cliche, I would highly recommend Andrea and her team.
