Meet Jenny
How long have you been a funeral arranger?
With 15 years of dedicated service in the funeral industry and 27 years of experience in the retail sector before that, I bring a lifetime of compassion, professionalism and customer care to the families I support. From an early stage in my life, I always felt drawn to the funeral profession. After attending many services and observing the care, dignity and respect shown by funeral staff, I recognised that this was more than a career – it was my calling. My years in retail shaped my commitment to people, service and attention to detail. Those skills combined with a deep sense of empathy and purpose, have allowed me to build meaningful connections and support families through one of the most important and emotional moments in their lives. I am honoured to serve my community by helping families to celebrate the lives of their loved ones with respect, compassion and heartfelt care.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
What I value the most about being a Funeral Director is the opportunity to truly make a difference. Supporting families during the most difficult and emotional moments of their lives is both an honour and a privilege. I take pride in offering guidance, care and understanding when people need it most, and in helping them feel heard, supported, and comforted. Working alongside a dedicated team who share the same values is incredibly rewarding. Together, we strive to create meaningful and personalised farewells that reflect each individual’s life, story and legacy. Helping grieving families arrange a farewell that brings comfort, dignity and a sense of peace is what makes this work so fulfilling.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare times?
Outside of work, I cherish time with my husband of 40 years, our cherished son, our wonderful friends, and our beloved 5 cats. I am a devoted South Sydney Rabbitohs supporter and love cheering them on at games. I’ve also been a tenpin bowler for over 50 years, and music is a big part of my life. I enjoy going to see our favourite bands and other live performances – my family, our cats, and our friends whom we share laughter shared passions bring me joy and balance in life.
