How long have you been a funeral arranger?

I have been at White Lady going on 7 years and manager for 5 years.I worked at The Age for 16 years and Marvel Stadium for 11 years. I attended a funeral for a family friend and saw how the staff were with the family and thought I could do that.

What do you like about being a funeral arranger?

Helping families through one of the hardest times in their lives can be deeply rewarding. You’re offering guidance and reassurance when people need it most. Knowing that your work helps ease stress and bring peace to grieving families can give a strong sense of purpose.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time I am in involved with my local Basketball stadium.I have been a coach and ref for many years. I also attend NBL games. My husband has a drag car, and we go and watch and support him. I enjoy going for a bike ride and just being at home with my husband, 2 daughters and son.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

My guilty pleasure is to bake not cook but bake, cakes, vanilla slices, sausages rolls, all the yummy stuff.

What do you like about your local area?

I have grown up in my local area and my parents still live in the same family home. We have been a part of the community.

What charities does your brand/location support in your area?

We support St Vincents de Paul, Daffodil Day, International Women’s Day, Baby Memorial, Men’s Mental Health and donate flowers and chocolates to nursing homes.

What makes your brand special?

Every year we do a Christmas memorial and invite families that have lost a loved one that year to come and spend a night to remember their loved one. The ladies I work with are all incredible.

What would you like to have included at your funeral and why?

Everyone to wear bright colours, no black.
