Services can be held in our chapel, in a local church or somewhere personal to you, such as a club, park or private home. At White Lady Tanah Merah, we have supported families with everything from intimate at-home ceremonies to large outdoor gatherings. However you choose to honour your loved one, we will help you create a meaningful farewell.

Facilities & amenities

Chapel

Gather in our chapel – a calm and welcoming space that can be personalised with flowers, music and other meaningful touches.  

Seats 30 guests.

Audiovisual

Show photos, play videos and share music on chapel screens to celebrate your loved one’s life. 

Live-streaming

Include family and friends who can’t be there in person with live-streaming of the service. 

Allocated parking

On-site parking is available for guests.  Dedicated parking for 10 cars with additional parking on surrounding streets.

Wheelchair accessible

Our spaces include accessible facilities, such as ramps and amenities.

Bus options are conveniently located close by.

Meet Michelle

What do you enjoy about your job? 

I enjoy the feeling that I have made such a difficult time easier for a family in grief. I enjoy offering options that really honour a person’s life by personalising their farewell by using different venues, props, mementos and personal things that represent their life well lived. Taking the burden from family by taking care of everything for them.

How long have you worked in the funeral industry?  

I have been in the funeral industry for 17 years. Beginning my career as a Funeral Director's Assistant with White Lady Funerals. I have worked across many areas including Area Manager for regional locations in Northern NSW. I have managed QLD coordination, operations & more recently back in as a location manager at White Lady Tanah Merah where it all started.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?

I love spending time with my family and grandchildren. I also love travelling with my husband in our caravan around Australia seeing all the beautiful places our country has on offer.

What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?

I can’t say there is one most remarkable. I have cared for families that have had funerals on a river at sunset, at a racecourse in Grafton, at family properties adorned with hay bales & handmade quilts as pews. On beaches & back patios, in gardens & a winery. So many beautiful personal sendoffs.

Thank you deeply for your utmost professionalism and care from the beginning to the end of my beloved mums funeral. For going the extra mile in bringing her home despite a few concerns/ restrictions, the team made sure that they were able to fulfill our wishes to the best of their ability. Though it is sad as to why we all had to cross paths, we couldn’t have been more grateful it was with The White Ladys Funeral team.
