Meet Debbie
How long have you been a funeral arranger?
I joined the White Lady Funerals team in Hillcrest three years ago as a Funeral Director and have recently stepped into the role of Location Manager. Before that, I worked as a Lifestyle Coordinator in aged care, where I cared for residents and their families during end-of-life moments. Supporting people during such a special time made me realise I wanted to continue offering comfort through funeral service.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I feel incredibly honoured to help guide and support families and friends during one of the hardest times in their lives. Creating a meaningful service that reflects the life of a loved one and helps ease the burden of arrangements is something I take pride in.
What do you like about your local area?
One thing I love about Adelaide is that you’re never far from nature, just 20 minutes from the sea or the hills. I enjoy hiking through the Adelaide Hills, and when it’s been a tough week, a walk along the beach is the perfect way to soothe the soul.

Hazel and her team were the most caring kind and compassionate ladies, they helped Stephen and myself through the most traumatic event of our lives, I cannot express it in words. I personally could not have managed without the lovely hazel, my husband Stephen and I appreciate and thank them so much.
