Facilities at our Kelvin Grove funeral home

Our Kelvin Grove funeral home has been recently renovated and it is a modern and welcoming place to gather your family and arrange a funeral.

The facilities include:

  • A beautiful chapel that seats 120 people with standing room for 30 people
  • There are plasma screens in the chapel that you can use to play music and show photos during the service. We can also record services
  • A function area which can accommodate up to 60 people for after funeral catering or refreshments
  • An arrangement room which provides you and your family with both privacy and comfort when meeting with your funeral director
  • Funeral webcasting is available at our funeral home where the funeral service is live streamed and recorded for family members and friends to be part of the service if they are unable to attend in person

There is a car park on-site which has spaces for 70 cars. The funeral home is accessible to visitors using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I want to make a difference. I enjoy helping families create a celebration of their loved ones life. I feel very privileged to able to support them through a very difficult time. Its my passion, its rewarding and I feel its my calling. 

I enjoy helping families, making a difference, ensuring there process is as easy for them and they are happy with the final result .

How long have you been a Location Manager?

I have been the Location Manager at Kelvin Grove from March 2020

What do you enjoy in your spare time?

My spare time I spend with my family, water skiing, running, watching movies and learning to surf. 

I enjoy eating out and catching up with friends. 

Are there any special community groups you work with or support? 

I am actively involved with The Pyjama Foundation, local Nursing Homes and Enoggera Bowls Club.
