In this video Juliette Frame, White Lady Funerals Regional Manager for NSW, discusses White Lady Funerals' support of local and well known national community organisations.

White Lady in Your Community

At White Lady funeral homes, we are honoured to serve the local communities of Australia. We do this whenever a family needs a woman’s understanding after the passing of a loved one, during the arrangement and conducting of a funeral service, and also in the years that follow.

Each year at Easter, Anzac Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and at other times of the year, White Ladies will visit nursing homes and aged care centres, bringing with them morning tea, magazines and other gifts as well.

White Lady funeral directors are active in the community providing information on funeral issues, the role of a funeral director and on coping with grief. This information is presented through seminars at our funeral homes, open days and by providing educational talks to groups.

We also support various community organisations and charities.

Community Programs

Both around the country and in local communities, White Lady’s funeral directors support important community programs.

Some recent community programs that our White Lady funeral directors have been involved in and continue to support include Share the Dignity the McGrath Foundation, Lions Recycle for Sight and Legacy.

If you would like to discuss how White Lady Funerals can assist your particular community program, call us on 1300 656 550.

McGrath Foundation

In June 2008 Jane McGrath, an inspiration to many, passed away from breast cancer and White Lady Funerals were privileged to be able to support her family through the funeral and beyond. We were also touched by the impact her passing had on the Australian community.

Through the work of the McGrath Foundation, Jane's vision of a Breast Care Nurse available for each family dealing with breast cancer continues, and White Lady Funerals are honoured to be able to assist the Foundation meet its goals.

White Lady Funerals has assisted the McGrath Foundation since 2008.

Lions Recycle for Sight Programme

The Lions are one of the world's best known community organisations and the Recycle for Sight programme is one of their most important initiatives. Eye glasses are collected, repaired and cleaned, and then sent to communities in the developing world where they are distributed to people who otherwise would have no access to them. A simple pair of eye glasses can literally have a life changing effect for the recipient.

White Lady Funerals assists this programme through the placement and promotion of eye glasses collection boxes in our funeral homes and around our communities.

Together with the help of the community, White Lady Funerals has sent thousands of eye glasses to the Lions for distribution to communities currently without access to the medical services or the funds required to address vision impairment.

More information about the Lions Recycle for Sight Programme is available.
